Better than its Predecessor, but in places sloppily implemented Actually, Melting Hearts: Our Love Will Grow 2 is better than its Predecessor. The other Two Are probably "defective")-While you can choose between male and female character, some Dialogues and Story Events are clearly tailored to a female Character-no patch support to expect, as the Developer no longer Active is active-no Achievements (but would have been a very good fit for the Game)

"Melting Hearts: Our Love Will Grow 2" is an RPG maker Farming Simulator in the Style of "Harvest Moon" or "Stardew Valley" Unlike its Predecessor, the Sequel plays in Winter. Since there's not really much to farm at this Time of year, the Successor is more focused on some tasks to perform, on Quests. In Principle, this is also a welcome Change. Stupid only that these Quests do not really offer much Variety, but rather mutate into annoying Compulsory Tasks. But of course the classic Farming still exists. With somewhat flimsy reasons it is also explained why it is possible in Winter. Or you can farm Mushrooms in a Cave. So We have our Farm, we have to plant profitable Plants, whose Seeds we are allowed to buy in the Village, or we breed farm animals or we go fishing or we mine ore Into Mines or collect wild Mushrooms. We can buy The upgradeable Tools such as Hammer or Pickaxe in the City. We can also get in Touch with other Villagers. And we should, because one of our Main Tasks is to find a Partner again. So pretty much everything like with role Models like "Stardew Valley"? In Principle, yes. In Principle. Pretty much everything is reduced, evaporated, just hinted at, simplified and homogenized. The Areas to be cultivated are predetermined and tiny compared to "Stardew Valley." Biggest Shortcoming, however, remains: There are no changing Seasons, which seems quite absurd in a Farming Game. Of course, such a Game types, which fits the Genre, but if one prefers to stay alone with the non-existent Depth structure of the Ladies, there is something fundamentally wrong with the Design. Even if "Melting Hearts: Our Love Will Grow 2" is made quite nice and quite ambitious, the not really expensive "Stardew Valley" is more complex, intelligent, varied and thus also fun by several Classes.
