 This game was designed as a Metal Gear Solid 6, making the link between MGSV and MG1. Not that MGSV doesn't transition well to MG1, but the goal being to achieve the game fans were hoping for, especially story wise. On the other hand, it is a personal pleasure achieved with little means. This is why the game is made with very basic software.

That's why it's a 2D game ! The graphics are therefore very simplistic but the interest of this game does not lie in them, although they are important in a good game. The game contains many easters-eggs and references. Hoping you could find them.
