Final Review, after Finishing the Game First I will go into the negative Characteristics of the Game, what Things I have found to be disruptive. There may be occasional small Spoilers in the Review, which, however, have nothing to do with the Story of the Game, but could only be disturbing for Players who want to start completely "Clueless" in Miasmata. However, I will mark These as Spoilers. Negative Aspects:-You are haunted in the Game by a Creature, which you can only shake off by hiding. The Problem is that if this Creature appears sometimes there are No Hiding things nearby and you are virtually at the mercy of it. -If you still have something to do at the other End of the Map, you have to run all the Way, because there is no Fast Travel Function. Of course, that would destroy the Atmosphere, but you could certainly have simple Rules that you don't always have to run the entire Route. -There is as far as I have noticed that there is no German Version of the Game, so to all those who are not very wandyed in English, I do not recommend the Game. -You can't save anywhere and at all Times, but only in certain Places Positive Aspects: + The Landscape in the Game is great, hardly any Places that are bald. + The constant Fear of the Creature, makes the Game exciting and also scary, as you never know when this Will appear. + The Feeling of Success when you have completed the first Tasks, what you have been looking for so much for, is great. + The End has prepared Goosebumps for me and for that alone it was worth playing. If you're already through, check out the Interpretations on the Internet! In Summary, Miasmata can be recommended from my Side, because it doesn't take long and a good Change, as it has a totally own concept and Arouses both tension and a spirit of Exploration.

I think this Game is really great. The Atmosphere is great, with the beautiful Scenery and the wonderful Music in the Background. You often also have Time to enjoy this Atmosphere, because you are not permanently on the Run. The Creature's Emergence Doesn't seem to happen according to any particular Pattern and that makes it very interesting and unpredictable. Also, the Search for the Plants is not too easy and was, at least with me, very often determined by Chance, since I usually only discovered Corresponding clues later in the Game. The manually Uncovering of the Playing Card is Fun and a nice Challenge and almost essential, otherwise you can get done very quickly. Card Reading is therefore a Prerequisite for Success. The Protagonist sometimes moves very awkwardly through the Landscape, which is due to The Fact that he suffers from a fatal Illness that affects his Consistency a lot. Therefore, you often stumble when you run carelessly through the Area and can only swim to a limited extent. I think this State of affairs is very good, because this time you don't play a truly invincible Elite soldier who slaughters everything that gets in his way on a Beach. In Miasmata, everything is just a Trace more realistic. A thoroughly successful Game, which I enjoyed a lot-also some Frustmoments, in which I was desperately looking for the right Plant, but that is somehow part of a Game. Considering that the Game, including the Engine, Originated from only four Hands, the AI-the Creature is considerable, as well as the entire graphical Implementation. There are many beautiful Details and no Place repeats itself. So The Landscape is very varied. Storage options are sufficient and more than fair, and would have needed less. I didn't notice any significant Bugs while Playing, and I only had a single Crash when I was playing. There is a very clear Buy recommendation from me.
