Mini Metro is an indie puzzle strategy game about building a rail transit network. You have to provide transport in continually growing cities by building stations, railways and disposing of trains. The number of passengers continually increases, and once any of the stations reaches its capacity limit, the game is over. With each in-game week, you get new trains and upgrades that allow you to upgrade stations capacity or give you additional tunnels, rail lines or train carriages. Every level in Mini Metro is based on the real city. Some of them have their unique features like high-speed Shinkansen trains in the Tokyo level. The game is notable for its minimalistic art-style. Almost every element on the level is made of simple shapes and bold colors. The different shapes represent different stations and passenger’s destinations. This style was chosen so it can imitate the real-life railway mar schemes.

when i was like 8, after I had gone to bed but it was still light outside (so it was like 19:30) I would stare at the ceiling and draw lines between little bumps and ridges like i was drawing efficient little straight line connections in my mind. and this game has corporealised that childhood past-time. this game scratches the same itch as tetris, the feeling of tidying up and making it nice.

i hold 2 WRs in this game and have >600hrs logged on steam. this is not a normal amount and this is not a normal game.

Full of Cool! The Review is mainly aimed at the Developers, because Of suggestions. So don't be swayed by the mainly Suggestions For improvement! I love it! It's minimalistically awesome realistic! It is partly not quite translated yet, that is, some things already in German-other still in English. -Still in The works It is probably Intention, but with some Cities there are so many circle stations that you no longer know how to cope. Triangles second cage, and Squares rather rare-like special Shapes such as E.g. Star. In Cities where you often need bridge tinto tunnels, it can happen that you don't get Upgrades and you go out. Is already very tricky, because too long Distances are not so efficent. Too bad there are still "few" cards. To be honest: In the Mode "normal" you quickly got the Game through ... I hope that a "Vienna" Map will be added. ...:D Game Mode Endless is to be taken literally. It's down to Efficiency and whenever a certain Set is reached and the Circle is filled at the top right (Normal is about total passengers-Endless I think about Transporting too immediately ..?), you get extensions. At normal always after a Week. Endless: The Game is Endless & without End. Means: To look at how Trains run. Good as a Screen saver, but pretty fast bland. Professional Transport: Sounds totally interesting: A built track can no longer be changed. But Can also become very stupid if Symbols change and then you have a Track that consists mainly of Circles (not very rare ...) Review updated: Based on beta27 HORSEPOWER: I love the Dark Design:D

Mini Metro has exactly the formula that had always captivated me in AAA construction simulations. Whether the settlers, Anno, Railroad Tycoon or even Starcraft, the reward center is easily triggered, if you see something actively growing. This little simulation perfectly translates this wonderful feeling. Even if the graphics are a bit flash-like, old-fashioned at first, they are incredibly smooth and pleasant in the flow of the game. The soundscape seems to adapt perfectly to the minimal optics, as does the uncomplicated gameplay. It seems as if all three points had the same significance during the development. Il gioco molto bello, per con lultimo aggiornamento ne ho risentito, perch se uno sta facendo New York e vuole sbloccare la mappa storica (bisogna arrivare a 1000) non ci riuscir mai (nemmeno se uno ci impiega 2-3 anni). Ma la cosa che mi ha fatto proprio incavolare che io ero arrivato a 999 e per un bug non mi ha dato 1000! Risolvete e metto 5 stelle Hi there! Thanks for playing the game, and sorry for the trouble. We originally decided that our players would enjoy winning the achievement and unlocking the level, but we've realised this was a mistake on our part. We weren't looking at it from the player's point of view and are adding to the list of lessons learned. We're having a look at how we can change it for the future, but it may be a little while before it is ready in the update. Sorry for the trouble in the meantime.
An amazing combination of the availability of idea and gradually increasing complexity. You can run game in any mood and it will put you in Zen. Simple design is well animated and clearly shows what is happening. A special thank you from my eyes for the night mode and the map of my own metro.
