Monster Hunter: World reviews

A big fan of the whole series for many years. This part is the best thing that happened to Monster Hunter. Love it!
«Blew my mind»
An amazing game. Never played Monster Hunter before, and I'm glad I gave this a shot. Spent over 200 hours already. The only downside is the RNG with the Giant and Mini crowns... if you want a platinum trophy, good luck.
«Blew my mind»
If you wanted a more complicated, more hand-holding, and worse version of The Witcher 3 that was made for children, look no further.

Otherwise....there are so many more ways to spend time that are better than this.
«Disappointment of the year»
«Waste of time»
Playstation version is easily 9/10, however Xbox messes up with the game hard. It was designed to be a multiplayer game, and that fact that you couldn’t play with your friends from the beginning was just a shame. It is ridiculous that nobody tested multiplayer systems. This is really a mood-killer for something that could be the game of the year. So play it if you have a PS4. If you are an Xbox user… Well, buy yourself a PS4!
Amazing game that requires you to think first and then strike. The game will treat your hard if you fight without a plan. Weapons, environment, enemies, hidden secrets are very diverse and a bit overwhelming, but they are worth every minute to master.
«Underrated»
I tried it and got bored very quickly. The game is very repetitive: get a quest, find a monster, beat the monster, follow it after it runs away, kill it, rinse and repeat. No immersion or creativity whatsoever. Controls are clunky. Graphics could be okay, but the white haze washed out all the beauty. I’m honestly surprised lots of people are genuinely enjoying it.

It is a great point to start if you are new to the series. It might seem repetitive for sometimes, however it is a great game from Monster Hunter Universe and it is very immersive. Definitely worth your time.
«Can’t stop playing»
Without a doubt the best and most accessible Monster Hunter ever made. The sheer amount of quality of life improvements in the game play and through out the games systems has mad this the Monster Hunter for everyone. The way online works can be a hit against it. It gets better as you learn to understand it, but it should not be so difficult to just hop in with some buds. The core game play is on point thought. Weapons are diverse, monsters are fun and the world and it's ecosystem is just stunning. If you're interested in games that are decently difficult with commit based combat I couldn't recommend it enough. If you like games I couldn't recommend it enough. Besides, it's February, you're not playing anything else.
