Mori (SleepingTitan)

You are Mori. Your purpose is to ferry your passenger into the beyond, helping them reconcile their unfinished business along the way. 

This is a game we challenged ourselves to make for the Extra Credits Game Jam #5!

It was a lot of work and long hours of modeling, making shaders from scratch, developing camera movement and geometry puzzles, and writing dialogue. 

We had multiple takes on the game jam theme, "passage." Mori is about a passage into the afterlife, the passage of a vessel at sea, and the passenger being carried through both. It's an abstract game inspired by titles like What Remains of Edith Finch and Inside.
