My Precious Treasure (Demo)

For Summer Novel Game Jam

Childhood friends, Jay and Chichi, are the two most adventurous kids of their village. They go on constant adventures outside their home town for excitement and riches. Follow them on their latest journey where they will need to adapt and be quick on their feet. They will have to confront some problems that can't be solved with a hammer.

How to Play:

Arrow keys to move left and right, up to jump

[z] to switch characters. Jay can smash enemies and Chichi can catch butterflies and grab onto branches. 

[Space Bar] to perform action

Developer Note:

Demo Time: 5-10 mins.

The current build is an unpolished demo with no audio and some glitches (notably the interactions with the walls). I joined the Game Jam pretty late and some issues came up (mixed with chronic procrastination). I do plan continuing developing this game as I have a lot of fun ideas and a unique story to tell with these characters.
