Myrne: The Quest reviews

Product received for free Myrne: the quest, some words accessible video version lower developed and edited by Beldarak games, a Studio composed of one person. It was published in June 2017. Honestly we are attacking a completely atypical title. Just as in song of the Myrne: what lies beneath, we find the touch of humor that characterizes Beldarak. Whether it's the characters, the quests or the objects the player finds, everything goes on. Indeed, let us not be surprised to discover epics chivalally erotic such as the majestic spear or to have to look for a book among many others resembling him... The title starts pretty simple and quickly sums you up done well what happened in what lies beneath at the same time as the player chosen more or less his way of playing. So, besides this way of getting started that looks like mount & blade. Following this written narration, the player finds the Mage and the gravedigger. And these quickly give us the Topo on what to do, that is to recover 3 artifacts starting with the eye. First big disappointment in fact because in this title, one recovers only one relic, personally I was gone to recover the three. But I said that this title was atypical, it's a certainty humor plays a lot but it's not that, the graphics first are quite different from what we used to see. Difficult, indeed, to have already seen such graphics on other games. Indeed we are far from realism and we even closer to Cubism but it has its charm. And speaking of cubism, the experience, the blood and even almost all the animations of objects are cubic. Honestly I think it makes the title really special just with this. And let's not talk about the soundtrack which is quite in its element and it feels. In the end the two accumulated allow to create a totally specific atmosphere in the title that I will not even be able to describe. One thing is for sure, it's not really worth taking the game seriously after, inevitably there are things that do not diverge too many other RPGS, such as gameplay. As in many RPGS, the player will be led to solve puzzles, kill monsters and gain experience. Besides for the shot for the distribution of points one is rather in the style of the first RPG style mount and blade or Dungeon crawlers. There is also a craft system that is not too pushed but which allows to be supplied in rare cases as, for example, for the system of crocheting which is, incidentally, quite sympathetic. Finally, in view of the lifetime of the title, the player does not really have a way to get acquainted and to attach to the mechanics and it is quite a pity. Then there are still some inconsistencies, like the fact of being able to sleep (and thus put his point of respawn) while there are monsters nearby. We will also regret the end that comes in a fairly steep way to my liking and that is not necessarily possible in reality. Good after you can ask whether it is wanted or not, after all the title still has a good atmosphere to it. And so to finish I would just say that Myrne the quest is a kind of humorous RPG not to take seriously and even less in the first degree.
