Mytheon reviews

I Must say that if it were not a game set in ancient Greece, my assessment would be radically different. Mytheon proposes a descent to Hades, a frantic fight against the gods of the Pantheon in the style of God of War but with a game system closer to Titan Quest. If you liked any of these titles, you should consider your purchase. Pros:-Great historical ambience (or rather mythological). -Absolute Fidelity to Greek mythological accounts, counted directly through the NPCs (Mission dialogues). -New Rune Combat system to summon allies to help you on the battlefield. It'S like merging a role-playing game with a card. Cons:-It is Not an MMO to use. It Seems that this new version of the game that came out in 2010 has not had the expected success and the server (yes, there is only one) is quite empty. -Texts in English. In a hack & slash title as could be this the texts are secondary, but if you really want to know the Greek myths and delve into their history, you better drive another language, because it has not been translated into Castilian. -DLCs System. I Did Not expect it, but soon to acquire the game I found that they had taken an expansion (Egypt Pack) at a higher price than I had cost the game base. It must Also be said, however, that there is the possibility of buying the full pack at a reasonable price. Game advisable, although if you are looking for a better MMO look elsewhere.

I Played the beta when you could play and I have to say that it is quite entertaining, especially if you play with someone. You can play solo too... Although it becomes more difficult as it is logical, that if the game requires Internet connection to play it, even if it is solo. The combat system is ARPG style devil although the "skills" of the character are objects that are bought ingame. Where is all the "chicha" of the fighting is in the invocation stones system, there are several different types, summon creature, invoke building that attack, invoke support building, invoke a meteor shower, increase the attack of all your allies... And so a long etc. There Are stones that have combo between them which increases its power, there are also stones that, if you have them all, you have the option to summon, for the price of 3, a powerful ally or spell that will make the Tornados change in your favor. If you get stones that do not serve you, or you can vendersela to other players, or you can use the forging and combine those stones to obtain another random of equal or greater power. In the game there are 3 classes, warcaster centered on minions, elementalist centered on spells and Eidolon centered on buildings, each has a few stones that can only be used by that class. In his day I enjoyed it a lot and if it was free, but to get some things you had to pay with real money for microtransactions, now you buy it once and you can have everything (previously bought with real money, now is bought with gold from the game). So It costs now I would give it a try
