Nekuia reviews

Terribly addictive once you have the character in hand. The basic mechanism for jumps is reassuring at first but once you understand that you can jump simply by imputing a direction with its joystick (c.f. the options) the games takes a whole different twist and the quest for speed becomes evident! The tournament mode is also a very good idea that adds interest to the games.

Nekuia is definitely the most nervous plateform I've played! It revolves around 2 gameplay: to be able to be acroed everywhere & acceleration by linking jumps. We do not move left/right, we move by jumping and adjusting his trajectory with the double jump. As soon as you make the jumps fast, you gain speed and power, which allows you to go further and reach inaccessible places with the basic jump. It is not the simplest to take in hand but we quickly take speed and we transcend with the effects of speed. A nice surprise!!

Early access review this game is surprising! The jumping mechanics surprises at first, but as soon as we have it in hand, it's a bomb! The speed is huge and with the music that changes it sends severe! Pure and hard die & retry but as I control the level the speed arrives easily and the AC changes everything. The LD are quite interesting, very vertical compared to the classic platformers and the fact of being able to hang everywhere adds a lot of possibilities. I recommend the game to all lovers of plateformers, personally I play it by taking the time to insure the jumps, but by training well, it can go very quickly. On the other hand a joystick is primmordial...

Product received for free to be frank, seeing the trailer, I did not understand the mode of movement of the character. So I didn't know what to expect by launching the game. But the least we can say is that it works perfectly. It's very hard at first, we're not used to calculating all his jumps in advance without actually being able to interact with the trajectory then (except the second jump), but once you start mastering, it's exhilarating. The more you jump, the more the little light is going fast and far, the more the screen vibrates at each landing and the more the music increases in intensity, plunging the player into a sort of trance. I'm really looking forward to seeing a speedrun of this game that was clearly thought for that. With three worlds out of the four planned, you can no problem throw yourself on the game, but beware, it's really very hard. Have in mind that you will have to start again and again each level to progress, but for my part, I loved doing it!
