About
----------------------------------------
Hello everyone! We'd like to inform you that we've opened early access testing. We'll be glad if you support us not only by searching for errors, but also financially. If you want to play only the final version of the game, please don't buy it right now, just add it to the wish list.
----------------------------------------
Next Day: Survival is a multi-player SURVIVAL game with elements of RPG. Its action takes place in an imaginary country in Eastern Europe, a large part of whose territory is contaminated with toxic fog. The player's main task is to survive, to develop his game character's skills, and to interact with the surrounding world, other players, and non-player characters (NPCs). In the course of the game, the character earns a reputation, which gives him the chance to join various factions of survivors, each with their own features and limitations.
Main Features:
*Several additional game modes: Single, PvE
*Big, open world
*Interaction and shootouts with NPCs
*System of factions and character reputation
*Skill system
*Variety of transport
*Story and quests related to the factions
*Large selection of blade weapons and firearms
*Crafting, interaction with the environment, and obtaining needed resources
*Extensive system for managing a character's health

Early Access Review Conclusion After the First Round: So after my first Round Next Day: Survival, I have to say I was quite positively surprised.
The Game has only been on Steam For a few Days and it clearly warns even before you get into the Main Menu that it contains Errors as it is a Beta! That should be clear to everyone when Buying an early access Title.
Performance and Graphics: The Performance of the Game is ok. There have been far worse games already. On Average, I play on my System (FX-4300, OC to 4.05GhZ, GTX 960 4GB OC, 8GB DDR3-1600) with 30-40 FPS on High. I initially played on Ultra and that wouldn't be a Problem either, as I couldn't notice any differences between Hoch and Ultra in the Performance, but I was too lazy to switch from High to Ultra again. :D
The Graphics are fine for what it is. YES she's outdated but you say so nice Old but gold. It doesn't look bad for this Genre and somehow it just fits as it reminds me all the more of STALKER and the good old Days I spent in these old Games. You just have to get involved in something like that, as you shouldn't expect an AAA graphic from a €9kg EARLY ACCESS TITEL EITHER.
Gameplay: The Game starts pretty hard. Apart from a Backpack, an Undershirt, a boxer shorts, a card And a Watch, you don't have any other Equipment. There are Quests that give you Starting equipment and that are also easy to deal with. What I have to complain about, however, is that if you spawn at Night, you run into death far too quickly, because you just freeze too quickly and die by Cold or similar. I didn't see a real Tutorial Either. (Maybe I just overlooked it, too?) During your Lifetime, skillpoints are acquired through various activities that increase certain Abilities. For example, you can train your Stamina, reduce your Water Requirements, etc. The Health System is also quite extensive. There are Diseases, a hunger and thirst System, as well as Hypothermia, which I Think also works well and calls for the Player to fight for Survival.
Vehicles are also available in this Game and are not extremely difficult to find. You need some Components to make it operational. How hard this might be, I have not yet been able to find Out, because I have only a relatively short Playing Time so far.
The Atmosphere of the Game so far is great, in my Opinion. The Camps are well staged and the World, which by the way is not too small Either, exudes an oppressive mood. Personally, I also think it's good that there are no Zombies, because I don't Feel like it anymore. (See H1Z1, Arma 2 DayZ, DayZ, Infestation Survivor Stories etc.) This realistic post-apocalyptic Scenario is quite right for me. It works too!
What I find disturbing but atmospheric to equal is that the NPC only speak it in Russian and there are no Subtitles. The Texts from the Quests and in the Menu, however, have so far been translated quite well, even if there are a few Little Things here and there. (You are always better than Stalker Online)
Conclusion: The Game is consistent and goes in a good Direction if the Developer maintains the Principle to which the Game is currently clinging. It has smaller Bugs and the Performance could still be improved, but for that it's still a Beta. The Start of the Game is hard and requires certain Playing Bases, but you can learn Quickly. A simple Tutorial Would still be desirable. You could simplify the start Of the Game a bit to make it More player-friendly for Newcomers. Z.b. with a small Ration of Food and drink or at least a bit more Clothing than just a boxer Shorts and a Shirt.
Is it Worth buying from the Game? Those who get involved in an Old-School Graphic and have liked Or like GAMES like STALKER, Metro or similar could have Fun in this Game. You have to compromise that it's a Beta and it still involves game Errors, but after all it's a Beta. The relatively realistic post-apocalyptic survival scenario is well implemented and works great without any additional Threat like Zombies or the like. If you are into pure Survival, you can let off steam here. I'm confident it's going in a good Direction and so far you can't do much wrong for € 9n at this Game.
