Next Earth: The Journey Trilogy™ is a real-time puzzle arcade adventure launching in Q3 2020 on PC (beta in August 2020).  Set in the near future, the Earth is being evacuated to escape the threat of the Octians against which humanity are defenceless. 

Control the evacuation ships, using time and space to run away from the alien threat. With the onslaught of relentless waves of Octians the player must use their strategy, reflexes and speed to win the day.

Use the new hyperdrive technology to slow down or speed up space, collect enough fuel cells to open the hyper gate to move out all of your ships to safety before you run out of time.  Action tiles such as hints and extra time, or special tiles such as teleports and conveyor belts are there to help turn the tide.

Be part of the story as we find a new home for humanity away from the threat of the Octians.

Features include:

• Real time puzzle action adventure mechanic - Switch between ships and manipulate your environment - slow down it or speed it up!  Solve each puzzle against the clock.  Feel the pressure in real time as you are challenged to think on your toes in this action adventure all happening at 60FPS.

• Differentiated graphics and sound - Experience a unique mix of photography, vector, pixel art and compositing, with graphics that bring the feeling of space to life with a vivid colour scheme. Combined with 80’s style music and typography design, it feels contemporary, yet retro.

• Collectables & achievements - Aim higher! With bonus tiles, hidden collectables, levels to unlock and a multiplier score collecting mechanic, the game encourages the player to push harder.  Everything is recorded on achievement tables.  Players can replay the levels to get best times, scores and collect all the medals.   

• Story & dialogue driven - Learn and connect with six characters as they leave Earth on a journey to find a new home. The story and dialogue is brought to life through character introductions, interludes, memories, tutorials and through game hints.  

• Four worlds to explore - Beat three worlds - each with different challenges, as you get further the number of ships, tiles to interact with and more challenging. Also features a fourth world that is unlocked by collecting medals.  

• Arcade mode & joypad control options - Play as you want to.  Enjoy a particular level, perfect their time or play for a higher in-level score with an arcade mode that allows you to play to your heart's content. Also included are three different joypad set ups to cater for different play types. The arcade control set up is based on a 80's controller and playable with a d-pad and 2 buttons. The deluxe control set up for fast paced PC gaming featuring instance switching between ships and space for enhanced player performance. Meanwhile, the console control set up is for the console-centric player providing a balance between both control types.
