NieR:Protomata

Nier:Protomata is a fan game of Nier:Automata in which you play as a defense program of an android.

The gameplay follows the same rules as the hacking minigame of the original game. It is a twin stick shooter with more than 50 levels to complete before reaching the end !

This project was inspired by At0mium in January 2018 and was my first real game project. It has taken me a very long time to finish it as the code is not very well structured and not optimised but I am happy to see it now complete !

Controls : 

• ZQSD / Left joystick : move
• Mouse / Right joystick : aim
• Left click / RB : shoot
• Escape / Start : pause

IMPORTANT NOTE: Laptop users, if you have a dedicated graphical card, make sure that you are using it as shown on the image below as the game is rather unoptimised.
