Made in 48 hours for the Global Game Jam 2023 - "Roots"

Inspired by mycorrhizal networks - the root networks through which trees and fungi share nutrients - this game invites you to try and cover little planets with a sustainable network of trees and mushrooms!

How to Play

Use Right Mouse Button to move around the planet.

Use Left Mouse Button to interact with seeds & plants.

Plant trees around the planet and plant mushrooms nearby to form root connections. If a tree or mushroom is part of a network, they will support each other and grow faster.

Once trees & mushrooms are fully grown, they will drop a seed for you to collect and place.

When the planet is sufficiently populated with trees & mushrooms, you can move onto the next planet.

Pro tip: if a root network starts glowing, then it's connected right!
