One Shot Standoff

A simple shooter game for Trijam #201, with theme "You got 1 shot". Made in Godot 4.

Note for Firefox users: if you can't load the game you will need to use a Chromium-based browser like Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge to play. See this page for details.

• Aim at the enemy's head, wait until he is ready and shoot him.
• You can only shoot once, so make it count.

• Aim with the mouse.
• Shoot with the left mouse button or the spacebar.

Overall, this took over 10 hours across 3 days. This was my first time trying to complete a game in such a short time.

I initially meant to draw some placeholder graphics but I couldn't find any suitable assets to replace them with so I ended up spending too much time trying to make what I made look good. Having to do everything from scratch proved more challenging than I thought.

Even though I greatly exceeded the 3 hours target for the jam, and the result is a game you can beat in 10 seconds, I'm happy with it.
