About

In the 24th century mankind has formed itself into the Federation of Earth, and has colonized several other planets. However, around 2350 a mysterious virus ravages the colony planet of Velia, targeting only the females within the population. They are transformed into brutal killing-machines, while the males are enslaved for use as sustenance or as subjects for genetic experiments. Having now evolved into an aggressive hive mind, the Velians turn on the Federation, instigating a brutal war.

The game begins seven years into the conflict, when the player character, Senior Sergeant Paul Armstrong of the Federation, finds himself forced to take on the Velians when they attack his ship.

Operation: Matriarchy reviews and comments

Translated by
Microsoft from Deutsch
Operation: Matriarchy is a First-class shooter from 2005. The crude Story: In the 24th century, Humanity spread out in the Universe when a Virus afflicts the female Part of a Planet's Population, turning it into absurdly ugly killer Machines. I would like to have coffee with the Developer'S Psychologist. Story aside, it is a typical linear shooter As it has been developed a hundred times in time. You do level by Level, look for Smart Cards and rethink everything that throws yourself up. First you run through Spaceships, then then through the mutant worlds of the mutant Ladies. And here, the Game is structurally reminiscent of Titles like "Half Life." Not that it would even come Close in quality. Because the Gunplay gets stuck in The way. This is mainly due to a lack of hit Feedback and the sometimes absurdly piepsy sounds. The AI of the Opponents is not exactly the Bringer either. Most just run haphazardly at one or stand balling fix at one Point and let themselves pop off. The Circumference, too, is rather manageable with about 5 Hours of Play. And yet the Game is able to entertain, because it is amazingly creative in Design and Style. The Opponents are partly absurdly overconstructed and especially the Worlds in the Levels make some AAA titles look old. The Amount and Range of different Weapons is amazing. Also, in the second Part we are Often on the road with a Combat Armsuit, which is sluggish But extremely strong combat. A Lot Of things about the Game seems unfinished, a lot of ambitious and then not redeemed. And so it is only recommended to a limited extent, since it is also possible to attract the Technically no one behind the Furnace. Rating: 7/10 Atmosphere 5/10 Story 6/10 Graphic 4/10 Sound 6/10 Game Mechanics 6/10 Balancing 6/10 Game Pass Conclusion: The Women's Weapons. 6/10 Overall Rating
