About

Orcs Must Die! Unchained is a tower defense action game where you not only set different traps to prevent enemies from destroying your base but also fight them directly. Unchained is the third installment in the series, that includes Orcs Must Die! and Orcs Must Die! 2.

The core gameplay in Unchained doesn’t differ from its predecessors, mixing classical tower defense features with elements of a hack and slash game. To buy and upgrade your traps you can use both in-game currency you get from matches and real money.

However, Unchained introduced two new modes to the franchise. The game puts a heavy focus on cooperative playthrough in its Survival mode. It doesn’t differ much from the single-player mode, as you need to protect the base from a certain amount of enemy waves. But here you work together with other players and need to unite your actions to be more efficient. Another new mode is Sabotage. Here you compete with the second team, killing enemies. The team that survives the most waves wins; you can prevent your opponents from the victory, summoning monsters and ruining their traps.

Orcs Must Die! Unchained reviews and comments

        Translated by
        Microsoft from Deutsch
Hello together, I have to say unfortunately that I am developing "Orcs must die! Unchained "just disappointed and I've been following it since the Beta I've already played in. With Regard to the Review, I have to say that although I played the two Predecessors, I do not refer to this Criticism in Relation to the Previously published parts. I dedicated a few Hours of playing time to the Game with my Circle of Friends and it was also really a lot of Fun. The Levels are super designed, there is a beautiful Range of different Heroes and Traps of all Facets-Many new Traps in particular are cool, that it is really Fun to throw the Orcs out of The beating. BUT: With Gameforge'S departure and The sole Release of Robot Entertainments, the Game has really only turned into a bad one: The PvE mode is all well and good, but even a Spark Balancing Flows into the Matter? The level scaling is grotto poor and doesn't provide a Seam transition with the player Level you have in the Status Quo. Likewise, I don't Feel like this Game scales based on the Number of Players. A Round that you Play alone is almost unmanoeuvable-the Lvl can also be done on its own, but it can't be the Point that you can only use a perfect Way to win. If you then create a Round, you get only a Fraction of EP, which would be necessary for the next Stage. The Progress is simply unrecognisable to the Player. I know God can't understand how to develop, balance and then simply ENTFERNEN KANN with an Update from the Game-This is an absolute NoGo! PvP mode in particular had so much Potential as it was a Mix of Hero Line Wars and a classic Moba (With Map-specific Objectives)-in style there was absolutely NOTHING in the current Game world, which was similar. That Potential to make a Game a successful PvP game was simply thrown away. It is all very well to dedicate yourself to what Orcs Must Die has identified up to that Point-namely the PvE experience-but where is the Thought for the Future. PvP is always varied and really had a Future in this Game. This whole Topic was well known, otherwise the Pseudo-PvP mode "Sabotage" would never have been introduced-which is really simply uninteresting to play. You could also patch some basic Things. So it is not possible to actively fight Orcs as a Long-distance fighter when a Melee is at the front of the Fight, simply because you can't shoot through Allies. So for me, this Game died. Please just reintroduce the victory mode as it used to be, then maybe you will get a few Players back who will forgive You for the whole development and if necessary you will end up in the upper Segment of the PVP games. If I look for the Game on Twitch, there are maybe 3 People internationally streaming it at The same Time-at idR. The same number Of Cattle. Unfortunately, you have not listened to the Users in the Past as far as this is concerned, maybe it would be Time for that.
