Original War
About
An American geological expedition, under a UN mandate, assesses the natural resources in a distant part of Siberia, deep in the trackless steppes of Eastern Russia. But instead of oil, they discover a deposit of a hitherto unknown mineral.
American scientists working for Department of Defense find out that this mineral is in fact identical to the substance used to power an extraterrestrial artifact in their possession. This object is called the EON (Extraterrestrial Object Nexus).
It was found in 1919 by Colonel Emerson near the site of the Tunguska explosion. Emerson was the commander of a US military unit in charge of transporting US war supplies from the city of Vladivostok to the Eastern front during World War I.
DoD Experiments have shown that items placed in the capsule are transported hundreds of thousands of years back in time. The American scientists were not able to understand its construction, nor could they manage to synthesize its fuel. Eventually, the machine - classified Top Secret - was stored, pending further advances in human science.

Personally, I don't agree, I'd rather stick with the good old Command & Conquer. No longer playable on many Devices!

A good RPG/RTS even if it is relatively old makes it laune.
The Language is completely German only unfortunately I never have more than 12fps which very limited the fun of play

HI OWler, I bought and devoured Anno in 2001. Many Hours passed in the Game.
Great Concept and also heutenoch an acceptable Graphic. Would I Have wanted a Successor.
For €4.49, everyone here gets an interesting and demanding Game. You can't do much wrong with That.
Grab!
P.S. OW is not a C & C Clone. Not the wrong Expectations arise.

One of the best older Games I know. A great 2D Graphic, captivating Story that you can influence through Decisions as well as a creative Sifi Backstory. Singleplayer and Multiplayer are top for a 2002 Game. The Only Defensive Drop is the lack Of AI setting in Multiplayer. You can only compete against other Players. Nevertheless, for this low Price, a clear Buy recommendation on my part. Game is, of course, multilingual, and German is also represented underneath.

One of my All-time Favourites from the early 2000s. If you're willing to adjust a little to the unfamiliar Game Mechanics, then you get a Pearl of the strategy genre with really good Story, interesting Twists and alternative Endings. A Must for all Fans of Time Travel and What-wash scenarios.
However, I would like to point out that the Controls and Graphics could deter some Players. Those who expect Base Set-up and Unit management à la Command & Conquer will be bitterly disappointed. Every Man-and I repeat-EVERY Man (or Woman) in the Team counts! These increase their Capabilities (Soldat/Mechanics/Scientists) proportional to their Use during and when Completing a Mission. Not all Troop members are equally well positioned, but usually with individual Appearance and Character. This motivates an Attempt to keep as many (or all) members of a Unit As possible alive during a Mission.
The Missions are exciting and varied as Part of the Story. The Difficulty can be adjusted in three Stages. Hardcore strategists will enjoy "master strategist" mode. The Game also features two Campaigns (Americans and Russians) that allow you to View the Story from two different Perspectives. A big Plus, in my Opinion, is the lovingly designed Mission Videos.
In my opinion, language and Music Output also know how to convince. In Conclusion, from some of the Campaign onwards, German Players are likely to have to chuckle fiercely. But I don't want to give too much away. :-)
