Osiris (yuenriartworks)

The project is an interactive game about one of Egypt’s famous mythology – Osiris and Isis that seeks to educate and gain interest of students about Egyptian mythology specifically for high school students by providing them a means of learning and entertainment.

Osiris and Isis, the two main characters in the story, are Egypt’s most worshiped Gods in its history. Isis had magical powers that she used for her to help others while Osiris, the God of the dead was also the God of resurrection and fertility. The Egyptians honored him because they believed that he gave them the gift of barley, one of their most important crops.

The topic Osiris and Isis is one of the most popular stories in the Egyptian mythology and the proponent thought of this topic to be a potential “gateway” for students to be more interested and knowledgeable of the Egyptian mythology. The proponent chose this topic to be presented in the form of playing a game because it is more effective for learning.
