About

OVIVO is a metaphoric game filled with illusions and hidden messages. In the world of OVIVO Black and White exist in harmony. Constantly intertwining and replacing each other they maintain balance. The main character named OVO created from these two halves of the world and it has the ability to switch between them. OVO travels through the metaphoric world, overcomes various dangers and collects mysterious symbols. These symbols help you to unravel the story of this world but how you interpret it is completely up to you.
Features:
Flow mechanics. In white, the gravity force is directed downwards, in black - upward. Preservation of momentum while transitioning from one color to another allows OVO to float along their border as if it is carried by the flow.
Fascinating art. The metaphorical world of OVIVO is full of hidden images and optical illusions.
Design without words. There is no text in the game and the story is narrated through gameplay and visuals.
Symbolism and puzzles. The game is filled with allusions and hidden messages.
Meditative ambient soundtrack by Brokenkites.

OVIVO reviews and comments

Beautiful and very relaxing "Jump & Run." The beautifully designed Levels invite, through the simple Control Concept, as well as unlimited Attempts with fair Reset Points and no Time Pressure, in Conjunction with a fantastic Soundtrack to sink and linger. Small Collection tasks bring in a little bit of Challenge. I Would only like to see a Redeployability of the Collection Progress in order to increase the Replay value.

Nice little Game for in between, the Mechanics are easy to learn, the Music is pleasant and soothed (believe me every now and then you need that). Hard I wouldn't call the Game, but partly Crisp spots are on and just towards the End I was a bit frustrated every now and then, but that was mainly because of my Impatience. I have 30/31 Achievements after 2.9 Hours, for the last one I will probably take about 10-15 Minutes. But first my left thumb needs a Break (used a Controller for the Game). The Game goes on your Fingers a bit.

Ovivo is a small but fine indie skill game that deviates from the usual Platforming scheme. The Game Mechanics are actually relatively simple: The Character can only go left and right and change the Color at The Touch of a button, which switches from a white to a black Surface and vice Versa. In the process, Gravity is reversed so that you can overcome Inclines and Protrusions. Some people may still know about the Flashgame "Shift." Without large Tutorials, you quickly get used to the controls and find your way around the minimalist But beautifully regarded game world, which is set somewhere between tasteful Tattoos and mesmerizing Mandalas. But even if you've learned the Controls after a few Minutes, the Game always finds new Ways to challenge the Player in later Levels. The Absence of Life Ads, Minimaps, Points or The Like is also quite unusual, but allows you to focus entirely on the Game world. Since you have an infinite number of Attempts and regularly pass an (invisible) reset Point, frustration never really Comes up. Along with the varied but coherent Soundtrack, the Ovivo makes it a very relaxing Game. There is no Story, nor is it really called a Game Goal, so you basically just wander through the Levels. In each Level, however, in addition to the Exit, there are three collectable symbols and a Number of Dots that are rarely really hidden, but often require a bit of Skill and Reflection. As a result, Collectors also have something of the Game and can enjoy 31 Achievements. Those also have my only Criticism of the Game: At least the English Translation here has a few Inconsistencies like "it's" instead of "its," or vice versa. But that weighs little. After not quite three Hours I was completely through with Ovivo. The regular Price may be a bit borderline, but rabbit you can strike if you are looking for a relaxed, artistically striking Game in between. The Screenshots don't promise too much.
