Or assume direct control over stunningly-rendered ships and planes to personally annihilate your adversaries. From the US to USSR, Germany to Japan, new missions, tactical maneuvers and multiplayer modes offer armchair admirals greater excitement than ever.

The Game is good if you: 1. Do Not pay attention to the graphics like I. 2. Do Not pay attention to difficulties with mastering, even after training, as I. 3. Do not pay attention to the brakes like I. 4. If you have at least a drop of patience regarding my ocean tranquility to try and deal with the management. 5. If you are ready to tolerate not very convenient management. 6. If You do not pay attention to all the other problems associated with this game. 7. If you don't care about all this, and you just want to be Admiral and command the fleet of the Japanese Empire, imagining every ship a girl.

This is really an outstanding Strategy Game. With the unofficial Patches, I personally don't have any ctd's. If You like Micromanagment, you're in the best of hands here. I myself am currently stuck in the Year 19.03.1941, as I have to ship thousands of Soldiers, Planes, ships and other bases to my Island ... A mega Task:) If you play the Game in Real time, 1 Minute is ingame = 1 Second of Real time. Everything has to be planned meticulously, just as I like it. For this "ridiculous" amount the Game costs. Can I recommend it to any Strategy fan (WWII/Pacific) ... Hope that there will be a similar Game in the near Future, only with more recent Graphics.

A childhood Game. Excellent idea, thanks to which the game could become a classic of wargames, but failed implementation: in the game a bunch of bugs, tutorials (the total length probably about an hour) explain only half of the chips, the need to manage the supply of goods is very stressful. But If you put fan mods and patches (eg Samurai spirit), the method of trial and error to understand the game, the terrible logistics-the rest of the gameplay will give you a great pleasure. The Ability to customize the configuration of each released unit, the development of bases, the transition from a strategic map to RTS with the ability to manage units during combat, as well as the transition from RTS to the management of a single selected aircraft or ship, Historical and alternative campaigns. All This together allows you to sit for long evenings for planning attacks and building the economy of your country.

"Steel Monsters" is a game dedicated to the battles of the Pacific Theatre of War of the Second World War, uniting the features of global Strategy, tactics and arcade Flight Simulator. Speaking for the U.S. armed forces or imperial Japan, the player can take part in massive military operations carried out by the Navy and aviation forces. Over time, the player can develop technology, gain access to new weaponry and even change the course of history. For this game, organically combining three genres (strategy, tactics, simulator), is characterized by a great freedom of the player in the adoption of strategic and tactical decisions, as well as the ability to instantly "get into one of the subordinate units and personally help their Troops in combat operations. The Depth and scale of the strategic mode, the elaborate tactical and dynamics of the Flight Simulator in general make up the gameplay of "Steel monsters".
