Paranormal Cases: La LLorona

Origin- 

In Mexican folklore there is a tale of woman who wonders the earth looking for her lost children. Its origins are unclear but there  was a woman named Maria who was very beautiful  and one day met a very handsome man. They soon get married and have two children, but she begins to feel her husband no longer loves her. He travels alot and when he comes back he only spends time with their children. One day she witnessed him with another woman and in a fit of rage drowned her children and eventually her self for what she had done. She was then not allowed in heaven until she was able to find the souls of her children

This game was made during a ten day period for the 2020 game jam Scream machine. Where The theme was machine and I Interpreted the machine into the cell phone. Some how allowing the player to see the Ghost. 

Story-

You take the roll as a rebellious teenager who snuck out to film a video for his streaming channel  paranormal cases. Where he goes explores  haunted houses and tells spooky stories. He was grounded for his failing grades but just as he discovered a creek where La Lorna has been spotted. So Once his mother falls asleep he sneaks out only to run into La Llorona
