About
Created in about two weeks for the Rogue Like Engine Jam, Percept is an open-world adventure roguelike about traversing an endless number of randomly generated levels.
You are a lone explorer trapped in a strange and dark world. Will you escape, or will you fall victim to the monsters within?
Slay enemies, earn upgrades, and advance through the lands of Percept.
Developed using C++ and the Allegro 5 multimedia library. This project is open-source!

Gameplay Tips
- Each level contains several enemy areas, including one boss area. You must explore the level in order to find these.
- Before fighting the boss, try to slay weaker enemies for upgrades. Each level increases in difficulty!
- This game features perma-death!
