About

Pereulok: The Series is an intricate adventure in the open world, and only few lovers of non-ordinary stories can disentangle these issues. The action takes place in 1901 in a small alley – pereulok – in the southern city of the Russian Empire. You will have to play for one of the three inhabitants of that alley. They live here a long time, they know everyone here. But small communities always conceal the unexpected.

In the first episode low-ranking clerk simply wants to rest on a day off, but a longtime companion gets the hero into solving his own problems, sending him for an unfortunate son. You will find yourself in the atmosphere of newsreels of the beginning of the XX century, among the historically authentic situation. Events are based on real historical facts.
Russian literature. The plot of Pereulok: The Series was based on the stories and characters described in Russian classics. Here you will find Dostoevsky, Bulgakov, Tolstoy. You will find yourself among the filth and vices of those years.
Show a bad character. Decisions affect the fate of the main character of the episode, seriously affect the future of other residents of the alley. Don’t believe anyone! Even an old friend may wish evil ... or good, which later will be even worse.

The entangled plot – all is done to ensure that the motivations of the alley residents are not clear at first sight. Truth does not lie on the surface.
Trendy soundtrack – instruments and sounding correspond to the historical realities of the beginning of the 20th century.

Pereulok: The Series reviews and comments

Went through two available episodes, did not regret the time spent. Pleased with the graphics-the picture is sustained in black and white, a kind of a kind of noir, the faces of the characters resemble cartoons from the Soviet magazine "Crocodile". The Soundtrack corresponds to the spirit of the epoch-Russia began the 20th century, more precisely, 1901. For some reason I came to the head of a dumb movie "Battleship Potemkin". Graphics and soundtrack Create a magnificent atmosphere, and complement it, of course, the story and dialogues =). The Game is not pleasant to everyone, but it will certainly have its fans. Fans of visual novels, quests and good plots-I recommend to purchase. Fans of Vohnushhek and Postrelushkas-pass by, for nothing spend 100 rubles.

On RPG Maker It is difficult to make something less of an eye-catching from the general mass. Everyone knows about to The Moon and A Bird Story, but that was rather an exception to the rules. But on the scene comes the game with a purely Russian name-Pereulok, and the Series in the title denotes the jepizodichnost of the project-just like in games from Telltale. At the moment there are two episodes that narrate short stories of two different characters, whose fates are connected. Pereulok is noticeably different from other games created by RPG Maker. Here at the first start of the game in the eye throws a special, author's style and manner of decoration. The Fact that this RPG Maker I realized only by visualizing the area in which the character moves-it allocates a white square. My assumptions were confirmed when I saw the Menyuki, which is similarly inherent RPG Maker. So here is the game-a typical adventure quest: Go to the location, click to everything, participate in the dialogues and make decisions. True Collection of items There is almost no, and all actions are intuitively simple and do not require care. And the location here is very intimate and concise, but still aged in the style of old black-white films, or promo-videos of character characteristics to Fallout, if you want. Each story passes literally in minutes 15-20, but reading the text and participate in the dialogues here is quite amusing. Characters in every way are sharp and resemble all sorts of stereotypes-but without extremes. It is possible to Pass once, but it is better to wait for the final third episode, for then and only then it will be possible to put together a story to find out what actually happened in "Alley" on that very day.
