Picnic Defense (emgiel)

Entry for Game Off jam 2021. 

The theme was: BUGS! 

It's a beatiful day and you're trying to enjoy a picnic in the park... but suddenly, insects start appearing and trying to steal your food. 

Now you need to defend your picnic using what's on your hand. 

Pepper, Spicy Sauce and Mustard are your weapons. Each having their own stats, they can help you fight the bugs attacking your picnic.

GAME:

Only 5 waves of enemies.

We ran out of time to add more gameplay and enemies, but at least we got to learn a ton and finished the game! 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Use WASD to move the camera ingame 

Escape to Pause

DISCLAIMER:

There are 2 small bugs (at least?): 

- when the game starts you need to move the camera in order to be able to build towers (still not sure why and ran out of time)

- the lights are off for some reason
