Planes vs Cards

Become an ace! Fight an army of invading... cards?

Controls
• Use up/down or W/S to move.
• Press or hold space or D to shoot.
• Press enter to pause the game.

How to play
• Avoid being hit by cards!
• Shoot to destroy cards and increase your score.
• Every time you hit a joker you get a random bonus.
• Get more points by completing special achievements (e.g. destroy a card for each suit, destroy an ace...).

The deck
Know your enemy. Different cards have different characteristics: RankResistanceScore 212 335 449 5514 6620 7727 8835 9944 101054 Jack1375 Queen16100 King20125 Ace25150 Joker1150 Also, different suits behave differently:
• Clubs have nothing special, they will simply move horizontally and respect the values reported in the table.
• Diamonds will give you more points.
• Hearts have a higher resistance.
• Spades are the only cards that can move diagonally.

Some cards are turned you can discover their characteristic only by hitting them.

Achievements
• Casual: destroy at least one card for each suit.
• Incomplete countdown: destroy at least one card for each number, except for the ace.
• Royal: destroy at least a jack, a queen and a king.
• Aces high: destroy an ace.
• Deck: destroy every kind of card.
• Bronze: get 3 bronze stars.
• Silver: get 3 silver stars.
• Gold: get 3 golden stars.

Bonuses
Every time you destroy a joker you get a random bonus:
• Explosion and invincibility: some cards will explode spontaneously, giving you extra points. When it happens you become invincible for a short time.
• 1 extra life.
• Reload time down: decreases the time required to load bullets.
• Maximum charge up: increases the number of bullets that can be loaded by waiting for some time without shooting.
• Bullets speed up: increases the bullets' speed.
• Bullets number up: adds diagonal bullets.
• Bullets power up: increases the damage dealt by bullets.

Settings
Music and sounds can be disabled during a game by clicking on the icons in the upper left corner.
