Planetbase reviews

UPDATE: First of all, I want to thank the Developer for the Answer. I have to agree With You in part that there are more positive Arguments than I have stated (you have listed the Arguments below). I would even say I wrote the Review out of Emotion. Nevertheless, as I said, I would like to see a Laboratory or a Research Institution where you can explore something yourself instead of importing all the Plans. (E.g. With many Tomatoes, develop the Genetic Tomatoes or use Semiconductors to explore the larger Solar Panels.) The Game is beautifully designed in itself and it's really Fun at the beginning. Unfortunately, these were already the positive Arguments. The Negatives Are that it gets boring very quickly. After the first or second Hour you actually have everything and just wait to build even bigger. No new Buildings or anything else. Not Even a Laboratory or something like that, where you can develop something yourself, such as new Buildings or Optimizations. In Addition, if they blow one out every Year, the Updates do not contain any Content. Only little Things like Bug Fixes etc. The Game would have so much Potential, but the Developers don't seem to want to implement it.

I'm completely torn back and forth here whether the Game is good or not. The Bottom Line, though, is that I decided to forgive a Thumbs down. This has the following Reasons: In the Endless game you have four Planets with different Weather conditions to Choose from. At the Start, however, you always build the same Buildings first, so that the Basic Disposal is made. Then you farm the 2 (and there will no longer be) Basic Building Materials to build more Buildings. And always so on. No More Monotony is possible. Micromanagement is almost non-existent. The different Weather Conditions (which often do not have a major Impact on the Game per se) and the occasionally emerging Attacks of Pirates or similar (you can stop by not looking for any more Collonists) are not enough for Variety Bringing in. The Number of Buildings and the interactions that go with them is also very manageable. Theoretically, you already have Access to all Buildings quite early in the Game and only have to have enough Resources. Only the extra missions are sometimes very violent and Require concentration and Reflection from Start to Finish. Any resource that has been built up too much could cause the Mission to fail. If you want a little Baseball Without thinking big, you've come to the right place. There's not much more in it, unfortunately.
