Pond Panic: A Frog's Day Out

Pond Panic: A Frog's Day Out was a submission for Frog Jam (2017), inspired by arcade games from the days of old, this little game sees you play as a frog balancing on a lilypad on a quest to eat as many flies and wasps as you can before you end up being dethroned as king of the pond!

The game features three different types of characters aside from your frog; Flies, which you eat for points. Wasps, which you can eat if you dodge their needles. Finally, seagulls, which you must avoid the heads of at all costs!

It essentially boils down to a score attack game, where you must survive as long as possible and get as many points as you can within three lives, as an ever increasing amount of other pond inhabitants come to find you.

Controls:

WASD - Up/Right/Down/Left

Mouse Movement - Controls the direction of the frog and tongue

Left Click - Shoots the tongue out of the mouth of the frog
