Background: Where did this game come from?

This pong game is based on the awesome Pong tutorial by Clear Code.

There is a ton of good content on the Clear Code youtube channel.  This channel has some of the best tutorials on youtube, in particular their Ultimate Introduction to Pygame is not just one of the best pygame tutorials on youtube but one of the best game development tutorials I've ever seen.  The way they describe the game loop in terms of movie frames is particularly amazing,

Modifications: About this version

There isn't much different in this version from what was described in the pong tutorial linked above.  There are some differences though:

1. I didnt do the fourth video tutorial at all.

2. I recorded my own sound effects (which are pretty entertaining if I do say so myself)

3. The AI is slightly different in small ways: it chases the ball different, and is a little bit more human.

4. there is a fun launch animation every time the ball drops into play.  it launches when it reaches the center of the board and goes randomly in one of 4 directions.

Controls:

Player: arrow keys up and down to control the paddle on the right.  Thats it.

(secret: if you download the python source you can swap out a single line and switch from AI to 2players and if you do then WASD controls the left paddle.)
