“Can two very different game genres be united into one coherent symmetrical multiplayer game?”

Project BHTD21 is a 2-player symmetrical multiplayer which attempts to combine 2 distinct game genres into one functional game.

The game genres in question are a standard Tower Defense combined with bullet hell features. As enemies approach the players base, they will have to build towers and strategically use their boost and survival skills to help their structure survive, they will have to be careful however since a bullet is a bullet, no matter who it hits.
