Combat rival necromancers by harvesting resources from a graveyard.
Use the puzzle grid to match tiles to collect gold or summon creatures to fight for you.
This is my submission to LDJam 52 (theme: harvest).
HOW TO PLAYUse your mouse to click and drag across similar icons to collect them (you must have three or more highlighted to collect). You can drag in any direction and diagonally!
- Collect 5 or more dirt to find coins.
- Collect 4 or more bones to summon skeletons.
- Collect 5 or more flesh to summon zombies.
If you have enough coins, you can unlock additional board space by clicking the locked tile.
Another big list of nice-to-haves before the demo is done:- More visual updates!
- Add animation to enemy movement
- Check for locked board states
- Flash when player takes damage
- Add particle effects to show group/coin collection effect
- Add more tile types. Bones to skulls. Flesh to blood.
- Add more creatures. Skull lord (slow and tanky), vampire (very fast, low health)
- Add animation to enemy spawn
- Continue to work on background artwork. It's good but could be better
- Additional music track
- Tallbeard Studio splash
- probably more
There is a LOT of design space in this game. Especially if you have a "campaign" mode where you battle multiple necromancers across one journey
- Upgrades to your army, make spawned enemies stronger/faster
- Upgrades to your "base". Less dirt to find coins, unlock new tiles to match for new monsters to summon
- Static defenses to help protect your territory
- One-off magic spells to help turn the tide
- Multiplayer would be fun but I dunno how to do that
