Camera Obscura is an indie puzzle platformer game developed by Anteater Games.

Many years ago, a mysterious cult tried to reach the sun by building a tower. Fast forward to the present day, a curious photographer overhears the fact of the tower actually existing and sets out to find it. His goal is to rich it's top.

Camera Obscura takes inspiration from Braid, Fez, and Ghosts and Goblins. The game uses the same storytelling principles that are used in these games, and death is not a major setback in the game. It was designed in a way to relax the players and make them feel safe without getting too repetitive or hard.

Camera Obscura introduces an innovative mechanic to its gameplay. The players can take a shot of their surroundings and use these shots to traverse through the levels. This feature is mainly used to reach elevated places or cross a pit. There are 57 levels present in the game, with each one of them introducing a completely new puzzle to solve. These levels are divided into 8 zones which have a unique atmosphere and sound design for them.

The game also comes bundled with a custom level editor. The players do not need any programming knowledge to create a level. It is possible to place platforms, doors, and enemies by dragging and dropping them to the required spot.

This game is just gorgeous!!! the atmosphere is there, the music is well while remaining discreet and the game system my envouter!!! I started the game and I finished a stroke!!! Frankly, for a game that I pay so little and on which I am falling by chance, I do not regret absolutely not my purchase and I think the Publisher could offer it a little more expensive considering the quality of his game. I recommend it to all people who like platform games because it is really a very good game.

All. The Music, the environment, the levels (which in the second half of the game are put some something heavy, and start to be more puzzle through platforms), mechanics, history and its mystery... I love it. I spent it in three games. From the first to the second passed as half a year, forgotten, being the last of the queue on my list of importance. But a summer day in which there is no importance, I went and finished it. The first time I had been in love with much of the game, but before I even finished it I knew it was going to be my favorite. The music is to my liking, but that means nothing to you, the read it, because my tastes are rare. Sometimes it gets very heavy as it repeats and repeats, or maybe there is a strident synthesizer that makes you go crazy, but otherwise it's all good. The mechanics is very simple, you take a photo and when the Flash is finished you mount a solid shadow that you can step on. The timing of the flash is getting more accurate as you go along. The levels at the beginning are very tutorial, I don't remember the first levels but it does make you learn for yourself most of the time. In the middle of the game some of Them get pretty heavy, because of the precision, maybe, but they always end up and reappear again. Then a part of the puzzle is added. Although I do not mean that owe play the game, because I am a madman of this mysterious theme and that makes wait for literally the last moment; But yes, I recommend it for everyone. Recommended for people who like challenges, the second half are doing very well. Better buy it in a pack.
