About

Actuality: During the summer of 2003, events in the northeastern United States involving a strange, human-like creature sparked brief local media interest before an apparent blackout was enacted. Little or no information was left intact, as most online and written accounts of the creature were mysteriously destroyed. Witnesses told stories of their encounters with a creature of unknown origin. Emotions ranged from extremely traumatic levels of fright and discomfort. In early 2006, the collaboration had accumulated nearly two dozen documents dating between the 12th century and present day, spanning 4 continents. In almost all cases, the stories were identical... Do ghosts exist? What about Bigfoot, Chupacabras,Rake or Skinwalkers? And how will we ever know? "RAKE" is the first game in our series of games about paranormal phenomena. You play as Gordon Davis, a scientist, a traveller and an explorer of unknown creatures and unusual events. Having learnt one more legends, Gordon travels through the country in search of poltergeists,Bigfoot, Mothman and other American legends...exploring haunted houses, trekking through creepy bushy forests and scanning the sky and lakes to collect data about the mystical events... So, you are in the place where the strange humanoid - Rake was most frequently seen. Most often he was seen at night. Therefore, you can use the cameras, motion sensors, night vision device for the strange phenomena detection. In the afternoon you are installing equipment in all areas of the forest. You can also mount the cameras on animals, if you manage to lure them into a trap. At nightfall your task is to watch on the monitor for events taking place in the forest. You can switch between the cameras. If you notice something unusual, you can go to a place where the camera has spotted the creature. Do not forget to take a rifle. So you have to hunt down a strange creature, and then kill it or trap it. However, be careful, it can disrupt your plans ... And while watching on the monitor, be aware, it could be closer than you think. The game is over, when you will it... or it kills you... Good luck! Mac OS and Linux versions are in testing. Multiplayer now is in testing. It will be added for free after update the game. Attention! There are some terrible moments in the game. It is not recommended for children 18+ and adults with nervous disorder.

First Of All, a heartfelt hello! Thank you for Taking the Time to read my Review. First of all, the Rake is a Game based on the more or less well-known Urban Legends or the more or less well-known Creepypasta. A Chupacabra (The Goat Sucker) similar Being that moves on all four, preferably stays in Forests and stalks and ultimately kills People. I could go into the Origin further, but you can also just research it yourself on the Internet. To the Game: In "Rake" you play a "Ghost Neaster," a Hunter of the paranormal, unlike you might think, he just hunt not only Ghosts, but all sorts of paranormal or supernatural and unnatural Beings. In our Case, said Ghosthunter, rumors of a Being who lives in the Woods (Place unknown?) come to hear. He grabs his Camper and drives into the Wilderness. Equipped with Medication, Food for the local Animals, a Shotgun and his Camera's. Once There, the Day begins peacefully, from his Diary one times basic Information, for Example, that You should camera it here in the Forest on the predicted Placements. The Camera's are snapped and you start to explore the Forest, as well as hang said camera on. Once the first Day (30 Minutes) is around or you decide to skip it by Sleeping, the real Horror begins. The previously suspended Camera can now be monitored via a Monitor in the Camper via live Connection. Red Overlay's above the Camera indicate Movements, from Wild Boars, Deer or even the Rake. You play 3 Days and 3 Nights (If you survive until then). I spoil reluctant, but so much to say: The Intensity in which the Rake Visits you increases from Night to Night and these Visits are not exactly nice In nature. Conclusion: With just when you get to this point, 3 Hours the Game is rather short. It's not a Story of loaded overflyers who, through Twists, skin one off the Stool, no, this Game puts you more in the original State of Fear. You are alone, somewhere, no Help far and wide and something is with you, something that doesn't want anything Good. The attacks of the Rake's as well as its general AI was surprisingly mature, even if every now and then he decided to put a Tree up and down again in Endless loops, it has to be said that all in all he was an appropriate Opponent. Even if the Design of the Rakes wasn't exactly "Fear-shresting," this makes the general Atmosphere of the Game good again. There is much to discover, as well as Some events that trigger only at night, only Tags or just under certain Preconditions, so even if you have visited the Forest twice before it can pass out by pungsing out that a Jump-scare that you have not had before , one still frightened. Conclusion in Points: Idea: 10/10 (Yes, I stand on these Critters in eerie Forests) Implementation: 5/10 (It was good, but it could have been done more out of it) Monster: 3/10 (Well intentioned, but Looks more like an Alien) Atmosphere: 9/10 (Simple the Hammer!) Anxiety ridge: 7/10 (The Atmosphere has saved quite a bit!) Performance: 6/10 (Anyway if you stay away from The Waterfall ...) Story: 3/10 (Jap that didn't really come across) Length: 7/10 (Appropriate for the Price) Total: 7/10 (Jap, For me a good Game) Everything in all Things, Rake is really worth a Try when you're on Horror and with a strangely designed monster Rnow comes clear. The Multiplayer also offers real Friday night potential. Personally, I can only recommend this Game to you, especially for the Prize, I have already played WEITAUS worse. Jap, I made an appointment at the Point, thank you again for Reading and I just pack my LetsPlay! Make's Good And maybe you'll see yourself in the Comments! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kwYxn4AILw&list=PLdecfY14xpzdMms15hhYwiZcB9zBSa-Xf
