RAVENMARK: Scourge of Estellion reviews

Scourge of Estellion This is a turn-based strategy title, that is, in the time between shifts of action is when we select where to move our units, where to position them, what to do, etc. [...] Something that stands out in this game is how easy it is. [...] An example we have in the effects of combat: they are too simple. When two units are attacked, we only see both units engaged in a set of "motion" effects comic type (the units do not even move from their respective frames to simulate attacks). In Addition, when a unit is defeated, it disappears immediately (after a short blink and a generic cry, equal for all units); The bodies are not even left on the ground. [...] What is Scourge of Estellion in PC, is a conversion almost 1:1 of the version of iOS, something that PC would expect to see something different, improved, especially with the initial selling price of €15 on Steam, something inordinate for such a game. It Is something that we could qualify as a "reduced" game, which should be sold as such. The effects are poor and nullly dynamic, the limited strategic capabilities, and the story with which the game counts, although it is true that it has a well thought out plot (there is even a kind of guide that talks about the characters and events of the Plot), is developed in a linear and almost always textual, based on text boxes and conversations written and displayed in the game for reading, along with still images of the characters as the phrases advance (sometimes there are audio, but not what Common). In Addition, the game lacks translation of texts into Spanish. [...] Although as a simple strategy game is OK, we do not see the cost of €15 for what it is (so we value in this analysis of Steam "no-recommendation"); However, at a lower cost, is a game that can be entertaining, as long as we do not hate the games where the movements are performed in turns, as is this. -Read The complete analysis here: https://areajugones.es/ravenmark-scourge-of-estellion/review/

Really neat TBS. A couple of things I had wanted to change as that there are only campaigns and not scenarios where you can choose your own squad set. 22 SEK is very cheap for such a well done game.

Really awesome Game. A strategic shift, really fun, interesting and fulfilling. It Has a good rate of challenge, more than good story and a solid and refined gameplay. One of the best strategic in circulation.

Very nice Game and nicely done, soundtrack by scary, the graphics are not bad even with the 2x you ipad. 5 stars when they will implement free matches with the composition of the free Army in points, maybe even with the multiplayer.

Not often I write reviews, but this is also arguably the best strategy game on the AppStore! Easily Accessible but incredibly deep. Polished, and with a well-described fantasy in the background. For just 22 kronor... Totally Sick really!

From the Beginning it became clear that the brainless Dialogues are only there to make the Player feel that the Fighting Situations are somehow logically connected. Doesn't Work out, though. No Immersion. Is Probably also due to the ridiculous Graphics. Who likes it ...

As the title says, Ravenmark is an excellent and very well presented tactical wargame. Plenty of depth in the system for interesting tactics, though I really long for a zone-of-control like mechanism to allow me to control the battlefield a bit more coherently. I would have withdrawn a point for this if not for the elaborate and beautifully presented story-line. So a small 5-rating with the hope of an update or an expansion that remedies this point.

Wesnoth is certainly excellent, but lacks an interface adapted to the iPhone, Ravenmark him, was thought directly for the iPhone and it's a joy to play on it. Apart from the very good interface/ergonomics, the gameplay is awesome, complete, with a depth that I do not yet fully measure after about 1h of play. to note, a tutorial listed allowed the best of the games in the AppStore, incrementally and leaving time to learn every aspect of the game, in short a must-have of the strategy turn by turn on iOS.
