Recoil was created as a game concept with the premise being a 2D platformer where you use the recoil of you gun to assist in your mobility. This is a quick draft of what a level in recoil could play like.

The world of recoil is a dystopian sci-fi where people have resorted to living entirely indoors and underground in the remains of an advanced city so vast in scale that what used to be of the earth has not been seen for centuries.

In this game you play as a "plume", someone who is tasked to traverse the outside world do communicate with other civilizations, transport goods, gather resources, and attempt to restore safety to the outer world.
