Red Haze
About
Falling into the dark pits of society, Rockette turned to drugs to give meaning to her miserable existence. Squatting in an old apartment complex, she finds herself at her last pump, and decides to venture from her shanty abode to locate her dealer, an older woman by the name of Aunti G. However, a creeping feeling takes hold; something is following her. A voice begins to talk to her from within the walls...
A semi-sequel to Close Your Eyes, something of a loose retelling of Little Red Riding Hood. Featuring a cryptic, surreal, and morbid story where not everything is as it seems, perception is important, and choice matters.

This title was a revelation. I Have always loved the horror genre, in every USA form, and long ago I try and I eagerly collect those works (movies, video games etc) that make me actually try "horror", a feeling that in our everyday life is almost impossible to try (fortunately Add). Yet this game, apparently one of the many horror-puzzle game in 2D, made me try it. More than define it trivially as a video game I defnirei as "experience": I did not spend hours because it amused me, but because it disturbed me, I was curious and involved me.
There is little to say about the plot, which will be revealed more and more at every run: what little we are given to know at the beginning is that we dress the role of a girl toxicodipentente, living as homeless in an abandoned settlement and whose only desire in the short term is que To get another dose from a good drugged. End. To have more details on the life of the protagonist and the place where you will have to play one game after another, explore the various scenarios and try to reach the various ending (some really difficult), so as to unravel more and more important parts of the plot. And This is what really made me passionate about red haze: the creativity and imagination behind such work is to be praised, the concept of horror and terror is gutted and treated in its purity. To be afraid are not the living dead, vampires or similar things, to fear are mainly human beings, or at least a part of them: the dark and animal that we all keep repressed in the depths of the heart.. Like it was some kind of chained beast. Not that the "monsters" are missing, but these are understood in the true sense of the word, that is, as something that inspires terror and fear: they do not have particularly definite forms, they seem more distorted images that chase us in nightmares. We Don't understand well what they are.. But they disturb us, they are creepy and out of our control. The only thing we can do is stay away from it. Maybe that's what red Haze wants to be, the metaphor of a nightmare.
To conclude, I'm not interested in the gameplay and the technical sector (however, in my opinion, for the type of game). This is not a game for those looking for complicated mechanics and graphics from fear, this is a small pearl in the horror scene, a demonstration of immense creativity by developers who certainly have a great "experience" in the genre. I recommend it to those who do not want to just enjoy relaxing, but looking for an experience that can make him feel mixed feelings, confuse him, involve him in the vicissitudes of the protagonist and bring him to reflect on the "dark areas" of Human nature.
