About

Regalia: Of Men And Monarchs is an RPG full of challenging combat and exciting adventures. Create your party of distinct individuals and get to work! There's a lot to be done if you are to rebuild your kingdom.
Enjoy the beautiful hand-drawn graphics, lose yourself in the original orchestral soundtrack composed by Game Audio Factory (of Furi and the Endless series fame), and go adventuring in the untamed regions of the land of Ascalia!
Your story begins in somewhat unexpected circumstances. Who would have thought that after your father passed away you would inherit… a wondrous kingdom far, far away? Unfortunately as soon as you arrive in Ascalia you find out the kingdom is drowning in terrible debt. Now, through some good old fashioned adventuring, you have to return your family seat to its former glory, help out your new subjects, and repay the kingdom’s massive debt!
Regalia: Of Men And Monarchs is a brand new RPG and a Kickstarter success. It was funded by gamers who, just like us, believe that we need to have more good tactical role-playing games. In the end, it was made to be everything we ourselves want from an honest RPG game.
So, will you defeat all the rats, bandits, monsters, and debt collectors? Or will your ruined kingdom fall into an even worse ruin? If you don’t succeed it will be the world’s first ruined ruin. And that’s just the worst.

PREVIEWS
CD-Action
I’d really love to draw your attention to Polish Regalia, Final Fantasy Tactics with Persona-esque social links system and humourous storytelling like in the Disgaea series.
Enemy Slime
The game already looks remarkably polished, featuring tons of great looking art and an already very deep battle system.
The Vertical Slice
If you’re a fan of tactical RPGs, this is definitely something to put on your list.

Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs reviews and comments

Nice Game, has made fun Lovedfully drawn With very small weakening in the translation. Story is medium mass, in places to smile. I didn't notice any bugs. Combat System felt for "me personally not quite round, I already had in others playing better, but also much worse." What totally annoyed me is this permanent load bar. Feel 3/4 of the game before the fight after the fight at the scene change as good as with everything. Ask me if this still has to be at today's play? And I also think it is a pity that this game is now like to end, but it is like no feeling. To want to start It again, as I still have today after hundreds of throughput at (jagged alliance, xcom). But the developer hopes that surprises us with a few new ups and gives us a replayed value. I got it in sale for a skimpy 12 euro for which I was well entertained, the full price would not be worth it to me personally at the moment, unfortunately.

I want to make it short with my Review. Play turn-based strategy and Tactics for a long time. With Battle Isle started via Tank general as well as Fire Emblem and other SRPGs and JRPGs. Must fully agree to some other Reviews. I'Ve never accommodated such an unbalanced Game like Regalia. The Characters ' Sightlines are incredibly restricted. At the same time, the friendly Fire is "extensive." Even with clever Placement or Movement of one's own Characters, one has to choose between little damage of separately created Characters or just severe Impairment by your own Hits. It is hardly possible to set up and use supporters in a meaningful way. At the same time, the overall self-inflicted Damage is far too small. In part, you have to attain Enemies for three or four Rounds until they are dead. In addition, there is the small Number of Actions per Round: Draw once and breathe once. Influenced by Buffs, it often happens that even this one Attack does not hit at all. Healing doesn't exist in the Game at all. After All, you always defeat only one Opponent per fight. All of them are simply impossible to create. Have tried some Fights 10 times. The optional Challenges for more Exp are completely unattainable. Save The restricted, I would also like to mention. All on "normal" difficulty. You can still adjust it slightly, but it is still not convincing. I don't want to evaluate The Rest of the Game at all. To me, it all seems unnecessarily complicated and uptight. The Fights lum me the Fun immensely. With me, there's just no real Flow of Play coming up. Ultimately at most for "Agony Spirits" interesting or as a Takeaway for small Money in any Sale. Definitely not a successful Game in the Area OF JRPG and/or SRPG.

Very good tactical RPG in Japanese style. Surprisingly good humor - way better than, say, Disgaea, and the story never fully descends into overused tropes. However, relationship building can go and die - it was a waste of time, especially since every location change requires going through a loading screen.
