REM (Cancri)

REM is a platformer game set in a dream world. The player must travel through her dream and then escape her nightmare, they will encounter many obstacles along the way only with their trusty plush can they make it to the end. REM has two main mechanics for the player to utilise both with dual functionality. Slam to break objects blocking Rem's way and also use it to navigate the level and gain extra height. Throw the plush can be used similarly to break objects, hit enemies, hit buttons to trigger in game events and it can be used in conjunction with the soul shift mechanic where the player can control the plush.

The game can be player either with keyboard and mouse or a controller (Please note that all menus including death screen will need to use the mouse to select which option.) 

Mouse and Keyboard:

• WASD keys to move rem
• Right mouse move X/Y axis to rotate the camera.
• Space Bar to Jump
• Shift to Slam (Player must be jumping.)
• Right Click and hold to Aim.
• Left Click to throw (Player must be aiming to throw).
• R Key to Recall the plush (plush must not be in the player's hand)
• Q key to use soul shift (plush must not be in the player's hand, pressing Q once will control the plush press this button a second time to return to the player).

Controller:

• Left Analogue stick to move rem
• Right Analogue stick to rotate the camera.
• A/Bottom face button to Jump
• B/Bottom face button to Slam (Player must be jumping.)
•  Left Trigger hold to Aim.
• Right Trigger to throw (Player must be aiming to throw).
• Y/Bottom face button to Recall the plush  (plush must not be in the player's hand)
•  RB/Right Bumper to use soul shift (plush must not be in the player's hand, pressing Q once will control the plush press this button a second time to return to the player).
