About

Resin is a hardcore metroidvania with regressive leveling system.StoryThe events unfold in a dying world, dominated by machines and artificially created lifeforms. Warmth generators, the very last remaining living creatures in the world are used by machines as energy sources. You control an android woman made out of Resin, who was programmed with a task to slay the Warmth generators. Ironically, without their vital energy her life would also fade away.GameplayResin is a tough as nails 2D action-adventure with heavy emphasis on fighting. It has regressive leveling system, which means that every time you win a boss fight your character will become weaker, forcing you to adapt to new play styles and try out new strategies. It features a branching open world, multiple endings and bosses with different mechanics.

Resin reviews and comments

Product received for free To start the section I decided to do it with "Resin", an indie game created by 2 people: Rinberd, in charge of programming and art and Cotton in music. The game came out on November 11th and I received the key a couple ago from Keymailer. Resin belongs to the genus Metroidvania, only in this case a HARDCORE Metroidvania, in some respects has reminded me a lot of the saga "Souls", you start without knowing where you are, not knowing what your goal and even without knowing who you are. True, if we start the game Leyéndonos the description of the store, everything becomes much more meaningful. We Are in a world that is being dominated by machines and that have created life forms in an artificial way. The "Warmth Generators" are the last creatures used by the machines as an energy resource. We, who wake up without knowing anything, are an Android woman made of resin (Rosin?) that has to eliminate the Warmth generators. Sounds good, doesn't it? Well, relax, now comes the fuck. Just like the machines lose their power for every Warmth, you do it too. In This fucking game, you don't evolve the character, but the more you advance the more it weakens. An authentic past that makes the game more and more challenging. In Our mission we will encounter a human named "Oswald" who will teach us the basics to play. Attack, Dodge and the blessed checkpoints. From there, 0 more tutorials, to discover and explore under our responsibility. What is being the part of exploration and combat, I think they are quite well, there are several paths and shortcuts to discover, as well as a couple of objects... Some even important for our mission. I Don't want to reveal much around here but the game has different endings. Oh and I do not forget, we will also receive some improvement for the character, such as breathing underwater. Where Perhaps I have sinned a bit the game has been in the controls, that having to go changing to combat mode has played me some other bad pass that has made me cry a lot... Sometimes more than crying, I have wanted to stamp the control against the wall and make the croquette... But Well, my intense rage is not the case here. I'm going to talk a little bit about the mechanics that includes the game, as not all of us will kill them simply pegándoles. This is something I really liked about the game, and it's the bosses ' design. Simple, but children of ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ There is no other term to describe them. In all, if you do not count badly we have 9 normal bosses, of those who burst you as you neglect. Each and every one of them is totally different, both graphically and in gameplay. As I commented, not all burst pegándoles, some will have to run, others will have to stamped against the wall, others use environment elements... It Is something that is very grateful, as it brings variety to the game and adds time of play between which we discover what is the best way to end them or die... A lot... But Anyway, let's go to the bad. The game is short, between 4-6h the first time, although it depends a lot on the player's ability is short, but nevertheless worth €4.99, which is worth it. It Is The typical game that, costs little, offers a very good gaming experience and also we take an unexpected story if we do not read the store as was my case. It Has a pretty good soundtrack and a retro art section with low resolution sprites (except the bosses) that hears, it's nice to see everything. In Short: If you seek a low cost challenge, you like to explore and you like uncertain stories, you are in front of your game. In My humble opinion, is a game that is worth having in our Steam library, but you pass it 1 time and do not want to suffer again, is enough. So Well, this is my first video of this section, I hope you liked it and this improves with the passage of time. Greetings to all, blessings and even the next. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GBhuiHgi34
