Edit: The €40€ extension is now free, so you can see everything without paying. I personally like the Game a lot. I started about 1 Year after Release, then took Breaks again and again until there was more Content and then played on again. Then when the Game switched to F2P I took a 1 1/2 year break and now I'm playing it again. My Impression of the Game, as it is also criticized in the Reviews, is that the Game Pay to win WAR. Lately, as a Player who doesn't spend money, you got more and more Stuff that used to cost (E.g. the Earringslots). Meanwhile, the F2P Model is, in my Opinion, fair. Until Lv 65, the Game is free to play, but you can buy a Regular Player Pass for about €10-12 per month, which makes it easier for you to Level and give you more In-game Currency. In My Opinion, however, this is not necessary at all, because it is also a good priority. If you Want to Play 70 Games until Lv, you have to buy a €40 Extension that includes a new "World," as well as new Raids. There are 5 different Classes: Magicians, Clerics, Warriors, Villains and for a While also the Primalists, who have to be bought. There are 2 Options: A (currently) down to €20und law pack with the Primalist, a Mount and some More things or a €40 Pack that directly unlocks all Souls for the other Classes. Souls are the Alignment of your Class, i.e. tank, Healer, etc. Without this Pack, you have less to do. The Graphics are not so good in the older Areas anymore, but you can keep it up ^^ The new Areas and Raids are very nicely done. Last Year, the Game was updated with multicore support and a 64 Bit client back up to date, I guess soon Direct-X will also be updated, but is just Speculation. I think enlargement is good, but you have to decide for yourself whether it is worth €40. But over time, more And more content is added (such as a new Zone), which continues to captivate you in the Game. All in all, Rift is currently a fair F2P game, which I enjoy a lot and that I will continue to Enjoy playing.

Maybe I'm to be caught as a long-time WoW player but a Review is also just an Opinion. RIFT is now the 4th or 5th F2P Game I try, which is based on WoW, tries to copy it, or is just a cheap offshoot. Trion is quite a Game Manufacturer that can issue titles that present their own Niche and is far away from what others are; See "ArcheAge." UNFORTUNATELY, RIFT is not one of them. In my Opinion, Rift is not a Game that fills a Market Niche. In this Niesche There are already countless F2P, P2P and P2W games of Namesake and Namesake Game Manufacturers. Maybe I am than former. WoW Followers with about 4.5k Hours of play to catch something to allow me a Verdict on RIFT after 15 Hours. Maybe that's why it's because of it. This Title is based on WOW in this MMORPG Genre (more than just obviously). Maybe someone like me can say something about it right now. RIFT is a Title for People who are looking for a Game like WoW and the like, but are not willing to pay a not too small Amount Month after Month. More Intelligibly wise. RIFT is a Title that Clearly confronts other Titles in the F2P Range by really BEING F2P. He is neither P2W, nor do Game-changing or necessary Content fail, due to paid DLC's and Add-ons. Of Course, you can also buy them here. Of course, the In-game shop is sometimes somewhat intrusive and unmistakably placed. But how Is Trion supposed to finance such an extensive MMORPG without such In-game sales? I will uninstall RIFT after this Review. BUT this Title is by a wide Margin the best F2P WoW offshoot I've ever played. Despite many, many Points that Trion TRIED to get as close to WoW as possible and failed in Execution something to miserably, I recommend this Game. -It's really free. -It really is not necessary to use In-game shop to get further. -The Game System, in particular the fast Group accession System, is well implemented. -Landscapes and Characters are well opened. Each of the less than 100 Hours has spent in larger, P2P Titles of this Genre has long-lasting Joy with RIFT. Anyone else could have their Difficulties or screw down their expectations in advance. Maybe I'm too spoiled, though:)
