About

Previously known as Rift: Planes of Telara and just as Heroes of Telara, it's free-to-play MMORPG in a fantasy setting.

In the world of the game - Telara - there is a conflict between two factions: the Guardians and the Defiant. The first worship the higher gods of Telara, among the representatives there are high elves, dwarves and the race of Northerner Mathosians.

The Defiant, on the contrary, does not adhere to any religion because of historical and cultural reasons or because of personal choice. They put more emphasis on technology and science. Among the representatives of this faction, one can find a race of highly advanced humans from the south called Eth, dark elves and a symbiosis between humans and Air-spirits called Bahmi.

The world of the game is divided into regions by the elements that are controlled by dragons-deities, personifying one of the basic elements: Air, Fire, Water, Earth, Life, and Death. In addition to the division into races, players can choose from five classes: Warrior, Cleric, Rogue, Mage or Primalis. The main emphasis in the game is made on the team raids, participation in PvP and PvE events.

Lately, as a Player who doesn't spend money, you got more and more Stuff that used to cost (E.g. the Earringslots). Meanwhile, the F2P Model is, in my Opinion, fair. Until Lv 65, the Game is free to play, but you can buy a Regular Player Pass for about €10-12 per month, which makes it easier for you to Level and give you more In-game Currency. In My Opinion, however, this is not necessary at all, because it is also a good priority. If you Want to Play 70 Games until Lv, you have to buy a €40 Extension that includes a new "World," as well as new Raids. There are 5 different Classes: Magicians, Clerics, Warriors, Villains and for a While also the Primalists, who have to be bought. There are 2 Options: A (currently) down to €20und law pack with the Primalist, a Mount and some More things or a €40 Pack that directly unlocks all Souls for the other Classes. Souls are the Alignment of your Class, i.e. tank, Healer, etc. Without this Pack, you have less to do. The Graphics are not so good in the older Areas anymore, but you can keep it up ^^ The new Areas and Raids are very nicely done. Last Year, the Game was updated with multicore support and a 64 Bit client back up to date, I guess soon Direct-X will also be updated, but is just Speculation. I think enlargement is good, but you have to decide for yourself whether it is worth €40. But over time, more And more content is added (such as a new Zone), which continues to captivate you in the Game.
