The Oldest City in the World

More than 10,000 years ago, even before the use of agriculture, humans gathered by the Jordan River, giving rise to Jericho, one of the oldest cities in the world, settled. With a history full of invasions and attacks by many different civilizations. From cavemen to bandits and biblical characters, each left their mark on the culture, architecture, and history of Jericho and the whole of humankind.
