Nabend Readership, after many Years I would like to leave My Opinion on Risen 2 here. Now that I have already finished the highly touted first Part of the Franchise with Pleasure, of course I did not wait long with Part 2. As a Fan of the Atmosphere of Part 1, I was not at all fades by the Pirate setting of the Successor. However, Since Risen 1 gave me so much Fun, I didn't let this Blemish put me off and let the Story come to me. Before I go into my Opinion on the Story and the Content, it is important for me to leave something about the technical Background and the Graphics. I was slightly surprised at first That at high Graphics settings (Not Ultra!) I only got to just under 40fps (~ 35fps throughout), even though I was slightly disappointed that I could only really play on high Settings, the Graphics could get themselves Still let it look like that. I couldn't detect Serious Bugs until then and if so, they weren't so big they would really bother. What bothered me a lot about Risen 2, on the Other hand, is the fact that one could not join a special Guild here as in the Previous, for example, the Inquisition and the Bandits. In My Opinion, Risen 2 storyonly peppered a lot technically, but still a lot of Fun according to PB manier. Since I finished this Game just under two Years ago and have not really played much since then, this Review is unfortunately shorter. However, what I can say as a Conclusion: Even if the Game offers a little less Freedom of Choice compared to its Predecessor, it still offered Fun and Excitement. The Game can also be seen in terms of graphics, although no Comparison to current Titles, but beautiful and atmospheric. So If you've already played Part 1 of the Series, you should definitely look at this Part. For Newcomers, on the other Hand, I wouldn't recommend the Game, at least not before Part 1.

Deaws, Sabres, Musket, Shotgun, Spear and Voodoo. Well, what does that sound like for you? For me, it sounds like Adventure and great Replay value! But that's not all, there's so much, much more:-First from Prisoner to Pirate and then to captain with a whole Crew with a Ship giant game world with several Island-horny Atmosphere-Old Known NPCs Re-watched-Gel-Gelungene Mourning Moments-tons of Melee combat, Ranged Combat and Voodoo weapons-Right Good And motivated voice actors-try sound track-Sometimes funny Dialogues to the Death laughter-Two factions-Many Forging plans of Near and Ranged Weapons, even for Amulets and Rings and, and, and ... However, there are also disadvantages that I really find a pity:-Something confusing and often annoying Control, especially the Melee system consists only of cheap Rum Clicks on the left Mouse button-gold is more than enough in the Game, but at first there will be many Having problems learning skills-Man helps an NPC, maybe even saves his Life and he nevertheless misses an unfair Price for learning his Skills and miserable weapons that you have to Forge can only be completed at almost the End, because only then you can only finish All The parts have been found-Comic Bugs that can occur in the Quests-I found the DLC with the Gargoyles to be quite annoying. The Rest are either small or incurred disadvantages that may have eluded me. Many can play this Game due to the Controls or what I don't know what, but I (like many others) am patient and also give the Game more Time. That was worth it at Risen 2. I see Risen 2 differently than others because I prayed for this Game at the Release, because I previously played through the first Crack part several times. This Game has the so-called Potential that many Games do not have. If you look at the somewhat confusing Controls, this Game has succeeded pretty well. As I said, there are a great many Types of Weapons and they all have their own advantages and Disadvantages. With Voodoo you can even hire other People taxes and Crap, which is really a lot of Fun. I clearly recommend this Game, but again it is not for everyone. But just the Pirate setting, the Humor, The setting, the Story, the Muskets and Voodoo Stuff that make this Game unique and Clearly recommended.

I praise the first game, but this sequel has nothing in common with it, and that’s a problem. The theme was changed, the combat was broken, the story… Well, I can’t name this a story. The game in general seems to be a cheap MMORPG, where you only press buttons and don’t care about the setting and all the rest. I hoped this game would be a great follower of Risen, and what I got disappointed me.

Strongly recommended pirate themed RPG. I don’t understand why so many people hate it. I enjoyed the game so much! It has a huge world to explore, and interesting quests, and the story that is exciting to follow. Maybe, the combat system is a little bit hard to master but for me it wasn’t a big problem, actually. Instead I got a badass atmosphere of pirate adventures and was satisfied with it. Before making an opinion based on reviews, try the game - I’m sure, you’ll like it, if you’re into piracy and RPGs.
