Ronin is stylish a turn-based action platformer following the exploits of a vengeful heroine determined to strike down five prominent figures of a powerful corporation. Move with precision by meticulously planning out each silent step, soaring leap, and devastating swing of your blade from the shadows as you seek your revenge.
Turn-Based Action: Carefully plot your movements to setup the perfect strike before retreating back into the shadows or boldly confronting your opposition head-on with your katana.
Decisive Strikes: Dispatch all that oppose you with your lethal blade and razor wire or avoid their attacks with a holographic replicator and grappling hook to find a more advantageous position.
Path to Vengeance: Battle through over fifteen complex missions as you stalk and cut down five closely guarded figures within a secretive conglomerate.

RONIN reviews and comments

Mark of the Ninja without Action, since "Turn based Combat." The Controller (360 Controllers) was the Tricky Thing about the Game. Man MUST WITH the Hook through the Window and it's really difficult to find the right Point. So Imho easy to find the Tactic but difficult to execute them ... Imho Game Design/Control Fail. What a pity.

Cool Idea: A Round-based 2D Combat System. Even some small Skills such as Sword-throwing and Shuriken Can be unlocked to make better progress. The Story is incidental, but knocking on the right Solution to eliminate all Enemies as effectively as possible without sounding the Alarm is challenging and motivating. In The Steam Sale, this is only recommended!

It is a cool steakth Game, but one is thrown straight into the hot fire, I lack too beginning lighter gaming to get acquainted instead after the 1 Boss just hardcore bullying knob emissions too much, difficult level selection With each more or less opponents could help evtl, but as it is now I would not recommend it to the majority

I thought it was great for Gunpoint and therefore bought Ronin. One forerunght. You'd better play Gunpoint if you haven't played that yet. The stealth part is pretty flat at Ronin And at Ronin it's more annoying Component than fun to be. The Emphasis is more on the Fights. The Fights often fluctuate very much in the Levels and sometimes seem quite unfairly designed on me. Ends often In a Trial and Error. Thanks to the checkpoint system, this is bearable after all. The Lap Fights are also Fun with the Skills themselves, once you have unlocked them. Had real Fun at the Beginning, but later became just exhausting. With a successful stealth part, the Game would have been a lot better. PS.: There is a Demo on Steam for Ronin, so try it out first.

RONIN Has it in it like Hotline Miami. I would even say that this Title is even heavier. Unfortunately, the Movement Mechanics are not explained enough to one, so that one will die very often. Strangely Enough, I also found the Game quite stressful, although it runs in quasi Rounds. Too often I stood in a Room with several Opponents without being able to do one of them without being killed by another Opponent afterwards. After all, this is already displayed before your own Train. This led to me often being hoisted around the Room quite aimlessly to dodge the attacks of the Overcount. In most Cases, it only helped to wait until you had the Chance to attack yourself. I even fear that's exactly the Concept of Ronin. Those who don't bring Patience here will hardly see the fifth Level. In order to level up your Character, you had to solve all the Levels without triggering an Alarm, which does not correspond To my Style of play at all. Anyone who loves a hard-hitting Challenge Will love Ronin, for me it's more of nothing. 3/5
