Created during PolyJam 2023!

"Root Beat" is a rhythm game where you control a tree root on a journey through a forest. As the root travels, it encounters various obstacles in the form of wild animals that threaten to harm it. The root must use its musical abilities to defeat these creatures and continue its quest to find a lost friend, all while striving for world peace. With rhythmic gameplay and a heartwarming story, "Root Beat" offers a unique and musical experience.

A - Left D - Right J - Hit "Red" enemy (beaver) K - Hit "Blue" enemy (beaver) R - Reset game  

Gamepad:

LeftStick/Dpad - move

Left bumper - Hit "Red" enemy (Beaver) Right bumper - Hit "Blue" enemy (Beetle)
