After Berlin's wall was taken down, USA and the former URSS launch a cooperative space mission entirely guided by women.

Nevertheless, an incident turns the spaceship non operative and unable to communicate after launch.

Commander Valentine and Leutenant Sokolova, presumed dead, must gather space trash  in order to repair the ship, trying to escape an inevitable fate.
