Thematic breakdown:
The clockwork orange is an expression that makes allusion to how sometimes we end up being nothing more than an organic automaton. In this case, Michael Collins who worked his way to the moon wants to go down and join Neil Armstrong on the surface, but he can't because of the constraints of the mission. And so the longer he stays up there, the more he feels like a clockwork orange. With more and more time passing, the orange gets torn up inside. Eventually there is no more juice left, no oranges, but only the windup mechanism. Concerning the image used for the puzzle, the recurring face comes from Inio Asano's Punpun, where that face is an anthropomorphic representation of the protagonist's dark thoughts.
Just a regular tile based puzzle and a nod to some of Inio Asano’s works. The game is incomplete for now though :/
Instructions: Solve the puzzle before time runs out. Click on the orange to get a bit more time.
