* If the difficulty is too high, please consider trying the Aristocrat class (starts with a stronger sword), or choose the Warrior class and speak to Madame Wung in the starting village. She will give you a strong Greataxe. *
* You can change the keybindings and graphics settings in the settings window (Esc > Settings) !! *
* You can level up your abilities will skill points by going to the Skill Trees panel ( C > bottom tab ). Use your abilities! *
Known Bugs
- Trouble unequipping item from left and right hand. You can equip but can't unequip. Working on fixing this ASAP.
- Spawner issues. Issue with enemies resetting/respawning when the player re-enters the spawn zone.
- Block and Resistance calculations are unreliable.
- Dropped weapons can display their text in the wrong position.
- Mesh occlusion issues when changing some items of clothing.
- Issues with overlap of dialogue UI and player UI.
- Various other UI issues, such as item info placards not adjusting for length.
- Randomized seed for levels does not always fire, so the level remains generated by the same seed each time.
- Combat can hit through walls. Working on fixing this.
- Butter Men stop attacking after a few moves.
- Skeleton mesh demolitions can cause performance issues especially in large groups. Looking for ways to improve this.
- Frame rate drop on level load, sometimes severe.
- Oni models have animation dropouts.
- Cangue can’t be removed by NPC yet.
- All sounds and music are placeholders.
Known Graphics Issues
- Occlusion masking not implemented yet, so buildings block the camera.
- Some issues with occlusion culling on body when switching clothing items. Changing the item back should fix this.
- LOD drop-in on some trees and cloth banners. these kinda look freaky sometime and I might just keep it.
- Water displacement interactivity is not functional in build (works in editor…)
- Various issues with skinned meshes clipping and bad textures on models. This will be fixed in due time.
- Textures and height maps are not set up for terrains.
- Environmental reflections are not set up.
- Some lighting issues in the boss fight area. For now let’s just go with it.
- All particle effects are placeholders.
- All unarmed combat animations (kicks/punches) are placeholders.
Unfinished
- Quests, NPCs, and branching narrative are all far from complete.
- Karma mechanic is not currently functional.
- Tutorial features are extremely rudimentary, just a panel with the default controls for now. More to come.
- Balancing is completely off, hasn’t been done at all really.
- Very little pathfinding or AI implementation at all yet.
- Settings menu is not complete, both graphics and audio.
- Skill trees are a mess.
Planned Future Additions
- Proper responsive dynamic Day/Night cycles.
- Item prefix/suffix system.
- Bows and Spears.
- Ragdolls.
- Parry.
- Riding.
- Cutscenes.
- Many more items.
- Quests.
- Souls-style lock-on.
- More NPCs and story.
- More enemies and bosses.
- Proper dungeons.
