Satellite Command reviews and comments

This game is great and features many interesting aspects about exploration as an Earth satellite. A few ui handling problems here and there, but the developers do have an open ear for issues and already patched many of the most annoying bugs. 8/10

While KSP is focused on vessel design and exploration, this small game is dedicated to the operation of satellites in Earth orbit (satellite piloting, resource management, reputation, technology tree...). The game is totally in English but I had no problem to take it in hand and to chain the missions. If you like space conquest and you loved KSP, there is a good chance that you enjoy this game. It is certainly less fun and without pretensions, but complementary for any passionate.

A little disappointed. As it is more a time management game than a spatial Simu. On the principle it's pretty simple, it's about activating/desactivating panels and tool depending on the Expo, the remaining load and the temperature. The research will improve the systems without revolutionizing anything. It is rather soft: in the process of contract realization, once the score stabilizes, the action comes down to watch a percentage evolve. And it is made artificially difficult by the non-management of contracts, it stacks up and must be treated, point bar. Way less.

"Take command of your own space agency ..."-Take command of your own Space Agency ... Nope! I had imagined a Kind of Manager game where I can decide for myself. Instead, you are randomly given random Tasks that you have to perform in a certain Amount of time. No Trace of Control or Planning over future Events. So You start with a Satellite and now you have to observe the Moon, for example. It is important to ensure that neither the Electricity is used up nor the Satellite overheats. (Yes, that's realistic, because both are serious Problems in Space travel. Really!) Already on some Screenshots you can see "Next Mission Due In: xx: xx" and ... Yes... It is precisely then that another Mission is suddenly imminent. You can now launch more Satellites with the Money from successful Missions in order to perform several Tasks at once. There are also different Ways you can lose the Things. The Developers were quite Concerned about the Game. The Graphics are also pretty to watch and the Music is coherent, the Control by Mouse or Hotkeys quickly goes out of hand after a short Winage. Why the Thumb down? now... It's just not what I was hoping for from it. The whole Game principle Resembles a Tower Defense Game. Use your Resources to achieve as much as possible In your allotted time. And there will certainly be enough Gamers who will like it. I gave the Game an extra Chance. Could Have been yes, that I enjoy it somehow But ... No.
