S.C.A.I.O.N

My first love was computer programming.

When the first computers arrived and took the world by storm, I dove into learning how to code. And as technology continued to advance, I learned everything about it and wanted to improve existing system code, pushing beyond the boundaries and limitations.

Eventually I succeeded, creating the Super Computer Intelligence Optimal Netmerge (or S.C.A.I.O.N for short).

Now it's time for it to go live!

• Type "commands" into the console and S.C.A.I.O.N will execute them, such as OPEN DOOR or PLAY SONG.
• Hidden commands that you'll need to find yourself.
• As S.C.A.I.O.N learns, new commands and features will become available.
• Customized assets (3D models, terrains and graphics).
• Multiple endings depending on your actions.

• Manufacture new parts to upgrade S.C.A.I.O.N or furniture to decorate your home using the workbench.

¶ This is an "as is" submission to AmalgamAsh's RPG Developer Bakin Map Jam 2023.

I lost over 40% of gameplay partly due to problems with Steam (which also resulted in corrupted files). I was able to resolve the problems and recover enough for submission.

This game is not complete. However, after the jam I will live-stream further game development on this game every Sunday.
